『おむすびデザイン』
会社の名前を『おむすびデザイン』に決定することにしました。
『おむすび』という名前の温度感にしっくりきたことが決め手なのですが、
敷居が高い！高そう….と感じられる方が多い、デザインというものを
この名前を通して、もっと身近に感じてほしいと思っています。
デザインは単に綺麗にしたり、経済活動の補助をするだけの存在なのではなく、
お客さまの想いやものごとの魅力を見えるようにし、
人とモノ、人と人との関係を「より良く結ぶ(むすぶ)」ための
橋渡しをするものだと思っています。
隠れた魅力と言葉を結ぶ、まだ見えない「なにか」とデザインを結ぶ、
ものごとと世界を結ぶ、
人と人を結ぶ。
まだ見ぬ笑顔を『お結び』できますように。
"Omusubi Design"
For the past year, I've been pondering over what to name my company...
And finally, I've decided on "Omusubi Design."
( Omusugi means pressing things together or conncting things together, and also means Onigiri. )
The reason behind this choice is that the warmth
and familiarity of the name "Omusubi" resonated with me.
Many people often perceive design as something distant, possibly expensive...
Through this name, I want design to feel more approachable.
Design, to me, is not just about making things look beautiful or aiding in economic activities.
It's about making our customers' feelings and the charm of things more visible.
It's a bridge that helps "connect" people with objects and each other,
making relationships between people and things, and people and people, "better."
Connecting hidden charm with words, Connecting the "something" that is yet to be seen with design,
Connecting things with the world, Connecting people with people,
I hope to create unseen smiles through "Omusubi."
